Who is responsible for collecting and processing your personal data?

INTERPROFESIONAL PORCINO DE CAPA BLANCA INTERPORC (hereinafter Our Company or INTERPORC) is the Data Controller, responsible for collecting and processing the User’s personal data. All personal data will be collected, processed and used in in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 3/2018, on Personal Data Protection and digital rights guarantees (hereinafter, LOPDGDD) and Regulations 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated 27 April 2016 on the protection of physical persons with regards to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of said data (hereinafter, GDPR). Your personal data may be transferred to the Portuguese association AGRUPALTO with the purpose of carrying out the promotion campaign From Farm to Fork together with INTERPORC.

How will we use your data and what is the legal basis?

Our Company collects your data so that we can:

Email you a quarterly newsletter of the From Farm to Fork Campaign, if we have your express consent to do it.

Verify the legitimate interest in the newsletter and the scope of the campaign.

Statistical purposes, based on our legitimate interests.

What data do we collect?

Our Company collects the following data:

Personal identification information: email address

Business information: company name

Device information: information about the device and applications the Users’ operate to access emails sent through Mailchimp Service, such as IP address, operating system, browser ID, and other information about used system and connection.

Usage data: usage data about Users’ interactions with campaigns (and/or emails) sent through the Mailchimp Service, which may include dates and times you access campaigns (and/or emails) and browsing activities (such as what pages are viewed and which emails are opened).

Performance data: metrics related to the deliverability of emails and other electronic communications that are sent through the Mailchimp Service.

How do we store your data?

Our Company securely stores your data in Mailchimp servers and offices, which are located in the United States, so your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States. While the data protection, privacy, and other laws of the United States might not be as comprehensive as those in your country, we take many steps to protect your privacy. Mailchimp participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. They are committed to subjecting all Personal Information received from EEA member countries, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, respectively, in reliance on each Privacy Shield Framework, to each Framework’s applicable Principles. For how long do we store your data?

Users’ data will be retained for the minimum time period necessary to correctly render the service offered as well as to respond to any liabilities which may derive of the same and with regards to any other legal requirement.

In the case of the use of Users’ data to receive commercial communications from INTERPORC, Users’ data will be retained until the User declares the wish to no longer receive said communications, whether through the means offered in the communications themselves or through any other means.

 Transfer of personal data of Users to third parties

Your personal data may be transferred to AGRUPALTO with the purpose of carrying out the promotion campaign From Farm to Fork, financed with the aid of the European Union.

The transfer of personal data of Users to other third parties will not take place without prior consent granted by the Users, except to physical or legal persons who are approved sub-processors of INTERPORC to which the communication of said data is necessary for the correct and improved customer service, or by legal imperative.

INTERPORC uses certain subprocessors in the general running of its business and to assist it in providing its services to its clients. A subprocessor is a third party service provider or data processor engaged by INTERPORC, who has or potentially will have access to or process personal data. INTERPORC engages different types of subprocessors to perform various functions as explained below.
