From August 6 to 9, the EU Pork, The Smart Choice campaign will be present once again at WOFEX, one of the Philippines’ most important events for the food and beverage industry. The campaign will be located at Booth #1152, where visitors will be able to taste a variety of pork-based recipes and learn more about the quality of European pork.
Throughout the four days of the fair, visitors will enjoy live cooking demonstrations, ham carving sessions, and product tastings led by professional chefs. Some of the featured recipes include marinated pork estofado, grilled pork with chimichurri cilantro secreto sauce, pork steak with honey-glazed orange sauce, and creamy pork dinakdakan—a well-known Filipino dish adapted with high-quality European pork. In addition, premium cured ham from Europe will also be available for tasting.
The campaign aims to connect directly with Filipino professionals and consumers by offering a hands-on experience with pork products from Spain and Portugal. These activities are designed to show how EU pork can be used in diverse culinary contexts while maintaining a high-quality level.
The campaign staff and different experts will be available to answer questions and provide further information about sourcing and distribution.
