Manila will host the Kick-off event for the “EU Pork, the Smart Choice” promotion campaign by Interporc and Filporc, the Spanish and Portuguese pork interprofessional associations, funded with aid from the European Union.
The event will take place next 28th March in Makati, at I’M Hotel, and will consist of an informative session with the participation of representatives of the European Union, Spain, and Portugal, as well as Interporc and Filporc; an explanation of how the campaign will be carried out, the activities and events that will take place; a business case in which a Philippine importer will tell its experience importing European pork and a round table with experts such as a chef and a ham carver to explain their vision of the products being promoted.
This session will be followed by a cocktail and networking gathering, where attendees will be able to taste different dishes made with EU Pork, as well as ham carved on-site and cold cuts such as salchichon and chorizo, everything paired with Spanish and Portuguese wines.
