2022 will be a busy year in terms of tradeshows, the first one that the campaign will have presence on will be Anufood China 2022, where European Pork, Excellence from Farm to Fork Campaign will participate with a booth and different parallel activities.
Anufood China will take place from July 25 to 27 on Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Shenzhen. It is the leading international food & beverage exhibition in Southern China in terms of both influence and scale which benefits from the expertise and resources from the world-renowned Anuga in Cologne, Germany.
Guangdong province has historically been the one with highest pork consumption, also holding a great relevance as the entry point for pork imports in the country, making it a relevant location for enhancing the image of EU pork among local industry professionals, including importers and distributors.
The presence in the fair goes beyond the pavilion, as the campaign will hold live cooking demonstrations and degustation of the four target cuts, as well as ham carving show and tasting, events that portray the value-adding features that EU pork brings to Chinese professionals.
Moreover, the campaign will participate in Foodie Space and the Meat Forum. Foodie Space is a large setting provided by the tradeshow full of delicacy tasting and business opportunities. Allowing the Campaign to spread EU Pork key messages among key buyers from distribution, catering and a diverse range of channels. Eu Pork will also be present in the Meat Forum taking place on the first day of the tradeshow, under the topic: “EU Pork from Spain and Portugal, key characteristics, market situation and trade development.
Overall, the wide presence of the campaign throughout the tradeshow, with the booth and activities, will allow for a high number of professionals to get familiar with EU Pork products and its characteristics, increasing the reach of the campaign.
