The City of Chengdu will host a restaurant promotion from June 14 to June 27, brought to you by the EU Pork’s Smart Choice campaign. This event will highlight delicious European pork for four weeks in selected restaurants. Each restaurant will offer special menus featuring four unique pork dishes crafted just for this promotion. Guests can also enjoy serrano ham throughout the month!
Chengdu City has just hosted this past June 14th, the inauguration of the “EU Pork, The Smart Choice” campaign 2024 Restaurant Promotion. The opening event took place at the The N2 Room restaurant and set the tone for a four-week celebration where four different restaurants across the city will showcase special menus featuring European pork.
The inauguration event, which lasted two hours, saw the participation of 46 local consumers who were treated to an exquisite menu crafted by the executive chef of The N2 Room. The dishes, highlighting the versatility and rich flavours of European pork, included:
- Roasted Pork Collar with Mango Salad
- Pork Loin with Salted Egg Yolk and French Fries
- Stir-fried Ribs with Lemongrass
- Roasted Belly with Rice and Basil Leaves
During the event, a local chef held a presentation, where key characteristics of European pork were highlighted. Attendees learned about the high standards of quality, safety, and taste that distinguish European pork from others.
