The first Tasting for Professionals in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, took place at Sofitel Saigon Plaza on the 17th of October 2023. The event provided a unique opportunity for a group of professionals from the region to savour the flavours of European pork. 

The event showcased the outstanding quality and versatility of European pork, thanks to a wonderfully crafted 4-course menu featuring a selection of techniques that highlighted the key aspects of European pork. The dishes consisted of a blend of traditional Vietnamese flavours and contemporary techniques for a modern, international twist that ensured the pork cuts’ flavours were at the center of every dish. 

Throughout the evening, attendees were able to listen to an engaging presentation from the chefs and carver, who passionately shared insights into the origin and key aspects of each of the cuts, highlighting the significance of sustainable farming practices, animal welfare, safety and quality behind European pork, all the while sipping on a selection of European wines.
