On March 30, the launching event of the “EU Pork, the Smart Choice” campaign took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The campaign is financed with funds from the European Union and has the participation of Interpoc and Filporc, the intersectoral associations of pork producers in these countries.
The purpose of the event was to present how the campaign will develop over the next 3 years and the events that will take place during the campaign. It also had local experts who contributed their vision and knowledge of the Vietnamese market.
Afterward, attendees were able to taste a series of recipes made with European pork, as well as ham carved on-site, and charcuterie such as salchichón and chorizo, all accompanied by a selection of Spanish and Portuguese wines.
