On April 25th, “EU Pork, The Smart Choice” campaign will be hosting a tasting event tailored for professionals in the food industry. The activity is happening in the city of Dalian, a vital port city in China known for its access to crucial water routes; its status as a major seaport facilitates international trade, which makes it a target city of this campaign.
In this opportunity, Conrad Hotel was selected to receive the attendees, who will be able to sample dishes prepared by a local chef showcasing the versatility of EU pork. A carver will provide insights into European Ham, while an expert chef in both Chinese and Western cuisine will cover diverse topics such as sustainability, food safety, and animal welfare, which are key characteristics of Spanish and Portuguese pork.
