EU Pork, The Smart Choice campaign brings masterclasses for the first time to Vietnam. The debut will be held in two major cities: Ho Chi Minh City (May 16th) and Hanoi (May 23rd). The cooperating school in this opportunity will be A Au Vocational Guidance Corporation, renowned for its expertise in food and beverage education.
The masterclasses will consist of a comprehensive theory session followed by practical, hands-on classes in small groups. The main content will cover the following topics:
- EU pork trade with Vietnam. Allowing chefs to gain insight into the pork trade dynamics and understanding its global significance.
- Key Merits of EU Pork. Participants will learn about the essential qualities distinguishing EU pork, including safety, traceability, biosecurity, disease control, feed safety, quality, animal welfare, and sustainability.
- Cuts of EU pork. Focusing on practical application, trainees will explore the different cuts, their characteristics, optimal usage, and cooking techniques.
