EU Pork, Excellence from Farm to Fork has organised a series of master classes where chefs can learn about the characteristics and uses of EU pork, including all cuts and cold cuts. These master classes will be taught by professionals in the field, and include both a theory class, and practical classes so attendees can get hands-on with EU pork from Spain and Portugal.
EU pork is perfect for both European and Western recipes, therefore the classes will include a review of different recipes that can use different cuts of EU pork, as well as 2 practical classes, one for Western cuisine and one for Chinese cuisine.
In order to explore different cuisine traditions and reach a higher number of professionals, the master classes will take place in six different cities!!
Interested professional and amateur chefs can follow or social media to be able to access a limited number of seats in each of the cities, including Chengdu, Shanghai, Suzhou, Xi’an, Hangzhou and Guangzhou.
This master class will be divided into two parts, theory course and practice course, with small classes of 10-20 people. Trainees will be equipped with a cooking station to experience first hand and understand European pork as well as learn how to use different cuts.
Participants will cook delicious European pork dishes, with each student being under the guidance of the master class experts. Moreover, there will be a ham carver class, where they will be able to directly talk to some of the best ham carvers in the industry in China, learning ham carving techniques and practicing themselves.
