Suzhou will host the first regional competition of our annual EU Pork cooking contest this 2021. In collaboration with Wangsen Cooking School, ten professional chefs from Suzhou restaurants will participate in the first round of this year’s competition.
The competition is divided in three regional classification rounds and one final. During the first three rounds, five chefs will prepare Chinese cuisine dishes, while five other focus on European style cuisine, and a winner from each style will be announced to move on to the final in Guangzhou!
The classification rounds are:
- Suzhou, November 30th
- Hangzhou, December 3rd
- Guangzhou, December 14th
The two best dishes selected by the jury in each of the competitions will move along to the final competition.
3-5 expert judges will carefully select the winners from each round, taking into account the quality of the dish, the preparation and cooking skills, the presentation of the Chef about the dish, and the plating.
After careful deliberation, the two winners for each round will be announced and they will compete in Guangzhou to win the title of EU Pork Ambassador, which will lead to further collaboration with the campaign.
